Abastra can provide competent surveyors to any site nation wide for the purpose of identifying all Asbestos products in situ within buildings or land sites as described in the Approved Code of Practice: Work with Asbestos Insulation, Asbestos Coating and Asbestos Insulation board. Along with actual identification, Abastra can provide professional consultancy as to safety or disposal of any asbestos identified.
Standard Sampling and Identification and Assessment
Locate as far as reasonably predictable the presence and extent of asbestos Containing Materials within a building and assesses their Condition. Take representative samples of suspected asbestos and analyse them. (Generally this type of survey proves to be more cost effective from a management position in the long run).
Full Sampling and Identification (Pre-Demolition or pre-refurbishment survey)
Same in principal as the previous surveys but involves intrusive inspections.
